Independent Balochistan and Pakistani Parliament
Is it possible to get Baloch rights to self-determination or independence through the parliamentarian system especially in Pakistan? The answer is a big “NO”. If for the argument sake, someone asks why? The counter argument is that no colony got its independence from the colonising forces by joining their parliament in the known history. It never happened before and it will not happen now. We have a live example of Bengalis who despite of having a clear majority to take the rein of parliament were subjected to genocide and rape by Pakistan army. Further, we should not forget the fate of first majority government of Balochistan in early 70s.Besides that, in case of Pakistan, it’s a known fact that parliament has absolutely no powers to run the affairs of the country. The parliament in Pakistan is only there to portray the image of Pakistan in the civilised world. Read More...

They should not only listen to their complaints, but answer them with positive steps, he said."This distinct group of people, who once held autonomous status, was deprived of their freedom without consideration when the British Empire invaded the area.” Read More...
